General Responsibilities
- Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
- Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.
- Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
- Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
- Adheres to the following environmental care standards.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.
Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Position Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager's primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: BSN
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
American Heart Association BLS Certification
ACLS (AHA) required based on assigned Unit
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Computer Skills.
