SPD Tech - Sterile Processing

Full-time, 11:00p-7:30a

Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and be on call.

Job Descriptions:

The SPD Technician ensures the safety and quality of patient care by meticulously sterilizing and preparing medical instruments, equipment, and supplies for use in surgical procedures and patient care areas; working closely with healthcare professionals to maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, or higher

• Must obtain Certification as a Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required within 18 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous SPD experience or healthcare-related experience preferred.

• Completion of a sterile processing technician program preferred.
