Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting power equipment safely and efficiently to customers' residences while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. This candidate would also ideally be willing to learn/perform basic routine maintanence on lawn and garden equipment, while not on the road.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks with trailers, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and delivery procedures.
• provide routine maintanence on small engine equipment and minor repairs

Requirements

• Must be 21 yrs or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles with trailers is preferred but not mandatory
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail is essential for this role.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
