Role Description
We are hiring a Veterinary Business Development Manager to lead commercial outreach and early market development for Pluslife's veterinary product line in the United States.
As one of the first U.S. team members, you will identify, engage, and support veterinary clinics, distributors, and diagnostic partners. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role for someone who thrives on building relationships, understanding customer workflows, and bringing innovative technology to market.
The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to expand Pluslife's market presence in the veterinary diagnostics industry, identify opportunities for growth, manage relationships with key stakeholders, offer technical insight into product applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development plans to introduce Pluslife's veterinary molecular testing solutions to clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers: veterinarians, practice managers, buyers, and reference lab partners.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline and track progress through structured CRM reporting.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions, both virtual and on-site.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to guide product and marketing strategies.
- Represent Pluslife at trade shows, veterinary meetings, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with marketing on lead-generation campaigns and localized content.
Who You Are
- 3–7 years of experience in veterinary diagnostics, animal health sales, or business development.
- Strong understanding of veterinary clinic operations and purchasing dynamics.
- Proven ability to open new accounts and manage distributor relationships.
- Self-directed, organized, and effective in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communicator who can translate technical information into customer value.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use feedback to refine approach.
- Energized by startup culture—flexible, fast-moving, and mission-driven.
- Experience with molecular diagnostics or point-of-care systems is preferred.
