Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and play a crucial role in our e-commerce fulfillment operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then meticulously packing them for shipment. This role demands precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We value attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong dedication to safety. Your role is essential to our logistics chain, ensuring that customers receive the correct items in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is an advantage.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Must wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
