Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to locate items quickly and prepare them for shipment is crucial for maintaining our operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction. As an Order Picker, you will use scanning devices to track inventory and maintain a clean and organized work area. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure a smooth workflow and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and walking. We are looking for motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a reliable work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or other picking devices.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure order accuracy and quality control before staging for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and using PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
