We are looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our bustling logistics hub in Austin, Texas. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to designated storage areas, and retrieving inventory for order fulfillment. A strong commitment to safety protocols and proper material handling techniques is essential. You will be required to perform daily inspections of your forklift to ensure it is in optimal working condition and to report any maintenance needs promptly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Attention to detail is critical for accurate inventory management and preventing damage to products. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a successful logistics team. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Transport inventory to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Stack and organize materials accurately in storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily targets.
