Are you an organized and analytical professional looking for a challenging opportunity? We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our warehouse in Sacramento, California . This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting our logistics efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing procedures to improve stock accuracy. Key duties include analyzing inventory data, identifying root causes of errors, and recommending solutions. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure proper stock rotation and storage. Maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority; adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. While not heavily focused on manual labor, this role does require some physical activity, including occasional lifting of inventory items and moving throughout the warehouse to conduct counts and audits. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and advanced Excel skills are highly preferred. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
