We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Jose, California . As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your primary responsibility will be to unload shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately record received items into our inventory management system. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and requires a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with vendors, delivery drivers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE is paramount. This position involves significant lifting and the ability to manage physically demanding tasks is essential. Understanding the flow of logistics within a warehouse environment will be a key advantage. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring smooth operations and preventing potential hazards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with warehouse management software is a plus.
