We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and storing goods, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. A strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safety is essential. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with team members to ensure that our operational goals are met daily. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Store received goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Pick items from inventory accurately based on customer orders or production needs.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, if required and trained.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Follow all established procedures for warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
