Are you an energetic individual looking for a fast-paced role? Our Tampa, Florida location is seeking an Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. This position is central to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked for shipment. You will be responsible for locating, selecting, and preparing items according to order specifications. If you are detail-oriented, have good stamina, and are committed to accuracy and safety in a logistics setting, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers as trained.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to achieving daily order fulfillment targets.
- Support other warehouse operations as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product information.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Willingness to work various shifts and occasional overtime.
