Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader ready to manage a dynamic warehouse operation? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our Miami, Florida facility. This key leadership role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring the efficient and safe execution of all logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the correct use of PPE.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
  • Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
  • Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
  • Resolve operational issues and customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Experience with inventory control and material handling equipment, including forklifts.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
