Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facility, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts safely and effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Your primary responsibility will be to load and unload materials, transport materials to and from designated storage areas, and assist in inventory management.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in a safe and efficient manner to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues to supervision.
  • Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and hazard identification.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts is required.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
