Join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Sacramento, California, as a Picker/Packer. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic warehouse setting. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, reaching, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. A good understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory procedures is beneficial. Safety is our top priority; all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from storage locations based on customer orders.
- Verify product details and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including applying labels and documentation.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the packing station and work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a smooth logistics process.
