Join our bustling warehouse in Sacramento, California, as an Order Picker! We are seeking energetic and meticulous individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders. Your role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their products in a timely and correct manner. This position involves navigating the warehouse, locating items using pick lists or scanning devices, and preparing them for shipment. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all associates are expected to follow established safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use scanning equipment or pick lists to identify and locate products.
- Verify product information and quantities during the picking process.
- Stage picked orders in the designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Contribute to efficient logistics flow and team goals.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 40 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting. A commitment to workplace safety is required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
