Join our busy logistics operations in Denver, Colorado, as a Material Handler. This role is essential for the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, receiving and stocking inventory, and ensuring materials are prepared for shipping. A strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment are key. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receive, identify, and accurately store materials in designated locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for outbound logistics.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required. Forklift certification is preferred. Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
