Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our hardworking team. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving a wide range of activities from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, possess strong organizational skills, and are eager to contribute to our logistics efforts. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against orders.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment, including appropriate packaging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE diligently.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of PPE requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if required.
