We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Washington, D.C. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing the importance of Safety and proper procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our dynamic Logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Sort and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required or provided).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning workplace Safety and the use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational deadlines.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Must wear required PPE , including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
