We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our thriving logistics team in Orlando, Florida. This role is central to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the movement, storage, and organization of goods. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are handled safely and accurately, contributing directly to the success of our supply chain. The ideal candidate possesses strong physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Store materials in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- This position requires the ability to perform consistent lifting, often up to 50 lbs, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand and implement proper logistics and inventory management techniques.
Your role as a Material Handler is critical for our logistics infrastructure. By ensuring the proper handling of materials, including regular lifting, you directly support our commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
