We are seeking a talented and dedicated line cook join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in kitchen food preparation. This role is crucial in supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. The line cook will also play a key role in fostering a positive work environment.
Full-time or Part-time | *Evenings & Weekends required*
*Responsibilities*
* Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
* Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in all menu items
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
* Help in kitchen performance during service periods to ensure efficiency and quality
* Assist with catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as line cook role in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting
* Knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and dietary department practices
* Excellent cooking skills with a solid understanding of various cuisines and cooking methods
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on hospitality
