*Compensation:* *$60 – $65 per hour*, depending on experience
Evergreen Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a *Part-Time Staff Pharmacist (RPh)* to support prescription volume and provide reliable production coverage in our independent compounding pharmacy.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys *focused clinical and production work* in a compounding environment, without managerial or operational oversight responsibilities.
*Role Overview*
The Part-Time Staff Pharmacist provides hands-on support for daily prescription processing, order entry, verification, and compounding oversight. This role works collaboratively with pharmacy technicians, the Lab Operations Pharmacist, and pharmacy leadership to ensure accurate, timely dispensing and high standards of patient care.
This position *does not include management, inventory management, or lab operations leadership responsibilities*.
*Schedule*
* Part-time position, approximately *2–3 days per week* (flexible based on prescription volume)
* Pharmacy hours: *8:30 AM – 5:30 PM*
* *No evenings or weekends*
* Consistent, predictable scheduling
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform prescription order entry and verification using pharmacy software systems
* Provide pharmacist oversight for *non-sterile compounding* activities in accordance with pharmacy standards
* Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and prescription throughput
* Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, including *HIPAA* and applicable safety standards
* Provide clinical oversight and ensure dispensing accuracy
* Communicate with prescribers as needed for clarifications
* Support timely prescription completion and patient care
*Qualifications*
* Active *Montana Pharmacist license* (or ability to obtain)
* Compounding experience preferred, but not required
* Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgment
* Ability to work efficiently in a *production-focused pharmacy environment*
* Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
