We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked from shelves and meticulously packed for shipment. You'll be working in a dynamic warehouse environment where attention to detail and speed are essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they match order specifications.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, using correct packing materials to prevent damage.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipping.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Contribute to team goals and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for long durations.
- Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs, with emphasis on safe lifting techniques.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
