Join our bustling Distribution Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Distribution Center Associate! You will be involved in various aspects of order fulfillment, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas with accuracy.
- Pick customer orders using pick lists and scanning equipment.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for pickup by carriers, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional overtime.
