We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be essential in managing the movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of materials from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, stocking inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and prioritize safety in all tasks. This position requires the ability to perform demanding physical labor, including significant lifting, and operate various types of warehouse equipment. Experience with warehouse operations and a basic understanding of logistics principles are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage and accuracy.
- Stock inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Assist with order fulfillment, picking, and packing as required.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
