Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management and control techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and manual labor as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment.
