Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker to join our fast-paced distribution center in San Diego, California. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary duties will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role demands accuracy, speed, and a keen eye for detail within our logistics operations. You will be part of a dedicated team working to meet daily targets and maintain high standards of service. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before final packaging.
- Stage completed orders for loading and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of goods as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting and PPE guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting as required.
