We are looking for a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Responsibilities include preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment contents, and maintaining detailed records. This position is key to our supply chain operations, contributing to seamless Logistics . Maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety is a core expectation.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including manifests and bills of lading.
- Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery times with various shipping carriers.
- Inspect outgoing goods to ensure they match order details and are packaged correctly.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and tracking information to packages.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping logs and inventory records.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Ensure the shipping dock and surrounding areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Strictly follow all company Safety protocols and wear all required PPE .
- Assist with receiving and inventory tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics support role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and standard office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of shipping carrier requirements and general Logistics practices.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must wear all required PPE , including steel-toed boots.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
