Design Organisation Overview Eirtech Aviation Services offer design and certification in Engineering and Project Management services to international airlines, private operators and aviation leasing companies to VVIP and OEM companies. Our Part 21 Design office includes structures, interiors and avionics on multiple aircraft types to cover a diverse range of drawing packages from basic to complex fleet branding. We can fulfill all operational and mandatory requirements, we hold Part 21 Design Approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to cover avionics, interior and airframe.
Our engineering team have extensive knowledge and expertise in both EASA and FAA regulatory and operational requirements, and we are perfectly positioned to offer tailor‑made engineering solutions and material / kit support to facilitate most requirements.
Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Graduate Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the development of certified design solutions for aircraft modifications and repairs, working in collaboration with internal departments, customers, OEMs, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, development, and documentation of design solutions for aircraft modifications.
Conduct initial reviews and checks of design changes to ensure regulatory compliance (EASA / FAA).
Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and OEMs, including participation in onsite aircraft inspections and design validations.
Represent Eirtech Aviation at a technical level during internal and external meetings.
Collaborate with production and maintenance organisations to ensure smooth project execution.
Support the preparation of technical and commercial quotations for clients.
Contribute to the review of audit findings and assist in developing appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
Participate actively in design and engineering review meetings.
Stay informed on industry developments, standards, and innovations relevant to the role.
Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by the Head of Design.
Competencies
Basic understanding of EASA / FAA aviation regulations, including Part 21 and associated design standards.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Effective communicator with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Creative and innovative approach to problem‑solving.
Confident presentation and negotiation skills.
Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity and commitment to safety and quality standards, even under commercial pressures.
Qualifications and Requirements
A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent demonstrable experience).
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar design software) and Microsoft Office applications.
A genuine interest in aircraft design, certification, and the aviation industry.
Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite visits and inspections.
