Are you a motivated individual looking for a Picker/Packer position in Orlando, Florida? We are seeking dedicated team members to join our fulfillment center and contribute to our efficient order processing system. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning equipment, following pick lists, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. You will then meticulously pack these items, ensuring they are secure and ready for transit. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are paramount. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We emphasize a strong safety culture and provide all required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Restock picked locations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
