We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our vibrant team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities include receiving incoming goods, stocking shelves, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing them for shipment. This position is critical to our logistics operations, requiring diligence, accuracy, and a proactive attitude. You will work in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and the ability to perform physical tasks. Safety is paramount, and all associates must strictly adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory items.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on pick lists.
- Prepare shipments for transit, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety.
