Job Summary:
Join our innovative logistics team in San Jose, California, as an Inventory Control Specialist. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inventory counts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies, and implementing strategies to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with warehouse management to optimize inventory processes, minimize losses, and ensure efficient stock management. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory checks.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide reports on stock status.
  • Process inventory adjustments, receipts, and shipments according to company policy.
  • Ensure proper organization, identification, and storage of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve material handling and reduce errors.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at loss prevention and waste reduction.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with general logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 30 pounds.
  • Understanding of Safety practices within a warehouse setting.
  • Must be able to adhere to PPE requirements.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
