Join our dedicated team as a Shipping Clerk in Washington, D.C. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, timely, and properly documented. Your primary duties will include preparing shipping labels, verifying order details against packed goods, and coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups. You will maintain accurate shipping records, track shipments, and resolve any shipping-related issues that may arise. A keen eye for detail is critical to prevent errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for organizing the shipping area, ensuring it is clean and efficient. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory for a secure work environment. While this role focuses on administrative and organizational tasks, occasional Lifting of packages up to 20 lbs may be required. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier platforms is a plus.
