We are seeking a diligent and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes loading, unloading, picking, packing, and staging of goods. Your primary goal will be to ensure that inventory is accurately managed and transported to designated areas, contributing to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring all goods are accounted for and properly secured.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications and shipping labels.
- Stage materials for outbound shipments and verify documentation.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and Safety.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handler role is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Must be able to perform heavy Lifting, typically up to 50 lbs, occasionally more.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
