We are seeking a precise and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team in Provo, Utah. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with overall inventory management. Your attention to detail is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse stock and supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Record and update inventory levels in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse stock for easy access and identification.
- Track the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to address inventory issues.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Assistant, or in a related role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Must be committed to safety and use appropriate PPE.
