Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Support the overall logistics and operational flow by minimizing downtime.
- Ensure proper use of PPE during all maintenance and repair tasks.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 75 lbs when necessary.
- Familiarity with various warehouse equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including lockout/tagout.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
