We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in San Antonio, Texas. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, accurately picking them, and then carefully packing them for transit. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and speed is key to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and inventory.
- Contribute to the overall flow of logistics within the facility.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
