We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists and using scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers, ensuring proper labeling.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details before packing.
- Process shipments through the shipping software and prepare documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is preferred.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes.
Working Conditions:
This role involves standing and walking for extended periods in a warehouse setting, with potential for exposure to varying temperatures. Regular bending, reaching, and lifting are required. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE, is critical for ensuring a safe and productive work environment within our logistics operations.
