Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are looking for a dedicated individual to manage the movement of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is critical for ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time to support production and distribution. You will be responsible for loading and unloading, transporting materials, and maintaining an organized and safe work area. A focus on Safety and efficiency is paramount. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations and develop your skills in a supportive environment. We expect team members to be proactive and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, conveyors, and other equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following all Safety protocols.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Handle significant Lifting and moving of various materials.
- Assist in maintaining smooth Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including significant Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and adhere to all Safety regulations.
