We are looking to employ a new Sales Engineer to be home based in the Midlands. You will travel around your region, meeting customers, building relationships and growing accounts. The chosen individual will require the following skills to be successful in this role. Have a basic understanding of heavy engineering To understand, and be enthusiastic about, the products and services on offer Carry out tooling demonstration when required Liaise with internal sales and engineering staff The ability to work on their own as well as part of a team. Actively seek out new business while maintaining the existing customer base Spot sales opportunities Have good negotiation skills to close a sale This position will take you into the following industries
Steel Making Heavy Engineering Construction Manufacturing Petrochemical Power Generation Utilities Mobile and Large Static Plant The role will suit individuals currently working as Sales Engineer – Power Tools, Technical Sales Executive, Field Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Rep, Account Manager, Business Development Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Stafford, Walsall or be willing to relocate.
