Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but not mandatory. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical or fire incidents
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Ensure all security protocols are followed in accordance with company policies and legal regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
• Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
