New opportunity for a Design Director job with a leading workplace design and build company in London. With a long-standing history of delivering unique and inspiring commercial interiors, this company has gone from strength to strength over the years. Currently operating with a team of around 200 designers, architects, visualisers, and creatives, working from their London office. This is a rewarding role with the chance to join a leading firm within their sector during an exciting period of growth. Role & Responsibilities
Liaise with clients from initial contact, leading pitches, and design presentations Oversee and manage a team of designers at different levels, providing support and direction Manage projects and ensure they meet the right specification and can be achieved within budget Contribute to design concepts and work with prospective clients to understand requirements Ensure consistency with project design standards Review designs and associated materials for projects Stay up to date with industry trends and enhance public awareness of the companys brand and achievements. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in workplace design, traditional or design & build Strong pitching and client-facing experience Good negotiation skills and attention to detail Ability to travel within the UK Ideally degree educated within a relevant subject. The right to live permanently and work in the UK is essential, this is an office based role.
