We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials and products throughout our facility. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and goods.
- Safely transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory and maintain proper stock rotation.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and warehouse procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient logistics.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with safety best practices and the correct use of PPE.
