Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator looking for a new opportunity in San Antonio, Texas? We are hiring skilled operators to manage our warehouse operations efficiently and safely. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in a warehouse environment. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that inventory is accessible and organized. You will work with a dedicated logistics team to optimize storage space and support overall warehouse productivity. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, put away, and retrieve products efficiently and safely.
- Inspect reach truck equipment daily and report any malfunctions.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and stage products in designated areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck, with valid certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and forklift operation best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Experience in logistics or a related field is advantageous.
