We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Provo, Utah! In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around our warehouse and distribution center. Your primary focus will be on safely and efficiently transporting goods, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. This position requires a certified and experienced operator with a strong commitment to **Safety** and efficiency within our **logistics** operations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a secure work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from various departments and storage locations.
- Perform routine **Safety** checks on forklift equipment before and during shifts.
- Accurately record movement of materials using scanning devices or other tracking systems.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures, including wearing required **PPE**.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of **logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Ability to **lifting** and moving materials up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to upholding high **Safety** standards.
- Must wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
