Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in San Jose, California! This role is vital to the efficient operation of our distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong commitment to Safety, accuracy, and teamwork. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions directly impact our Logistics success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Store and organize products within the distribution center according to established procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all equipment and tools.
- Consistently wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure seamless Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and data entry.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and inventory management principles.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
