We are looking for energetic Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding logistics hub in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, involving the handling, processing, and movement of goods within the distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking orders accurately, packing items for shipment, and assisting with general warehouse upkeep. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Stage orders for shipment and load trucks as needed.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, always wearing the required PPE.
- Follow all established safety procedures and logistics guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to safety regulations and use PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
