We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our bustling warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. This position is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our logistics facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and skillfully operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will also assist with loading and unloading trucks and perform other warehouse duties as needed. This role demands a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence within the logistics industry. Key responsibilities include: operating forklifts to transport materials to and from designated areas, inspecting and performing routine maintenance on forklifts, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring that all loads are secure and safely transported. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift operator certification and a proven track record of safe operation. You must be comfortable with regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure working environment. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount for all logistics operations.
