In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position involves the physical tasks of selecting products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency. Your daily tasks will include using handheld scanners to locate and retrieve items, meticulously checking quantities, and carefully packaging goods to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. You'll also be responsible for applying shipping labels, moving inventory to designated shipping areas, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of your workspace. We prioritize the safety of our employees above all else, and comprehensive training on safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. This role demands physical stamina, as it involves significant standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory locations based on order requirements.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Use RF scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Label packages and prepare them for dispatch.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency.
- Follow all guidelines for the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
- Wear provided PPE during all operational hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments is beneficial.
