Join our team as an Order Picker in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This role is essential for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from our warehouse inventory based on pick lists. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety are paramount in this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, such as stocking or replenishment, as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of basic logistics procedures.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
