Full time cook position open in small residential care facility (Approx. 35 residents)
*Shift:*
6a-6p
3-4 days a week, rotating weekends
3 Day weekend twice a month!
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
* Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
* Ensure all meals are presented attractively, maintaining the standards of fine dining.
*Requirements*
* Experience with meal preparation for large groups or catering services is preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
